About Me
Hi, I'm Samantha Kallas. I was born in Nevada but grew up in the Air Force. Moving and change is an inspiring thing to me. After spending eight years teaching at the elementary level, I decided a change would be great. This year, I am teaching 6th grade ELA. In 2004, I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations. Prior to teaching, I worked in radio broadcasting and as a copy editor for three newspapers. After that, I went back to school and received my master's degree in education in 2009. I enjoy learning new things, spending time with my family, and pretty much anything out and away from cell phone service. I am looking forward to teaching 6th grade at West.
