I grew up in Anchorage, AK with my parents, 2 younger sisters, and younger brother. I joined the U.S. Air Force right after I graduated from high school and served for 20 years as a Security Police Officer. While in the military I travelled all over the United States and the world (Saudi Arabia, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Nepal, Philippines, Japan, Thailand and Germany). After I retired I moved to Washington, D.C. and worked at Arlington National Cemetery. But my wife missed Idaho, so we moved here in 2015. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University. I graduated with my first master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University. I’m married and have four kids (three sons and a daughter). Currently I am working on my Master of Education in School Counseling. This is my second year as the Dean, but my fourth year, overall, at West.
